Press Awn.—By Telegraph.— Copyright. SUVA, October 20. A forecast of the new constitution shows that it abrogates the original constitution and its amendtaents. The new Legislative Council is -to consist of the Governor, ten officials, six elected and two native members. Two of the elected members must be unofficial, Suva will elect one ancj Levuka three. The franchise will include, an agricultural qualification, property producing £20 per annum, or income £120. The native members are to be selected by the Governor. There will be no votes for civil servants.
