MIXED FOURSOMES.
Tlie mixed foursomes match was concluded at 4.30 yesterday afternoon, and ended m an easy win for the Gisborne players, who won eight games out of nine, and halved the other. The closest game was that between Miss Balfour and Crosse and Miss Sweet and 1 Cuthbert. Tho scores were: — Miss M. Rutledge and Keiha 5 up and 4 to play v. Miss Hewlings and l Smith ; Miss M. Rutledge and Balneavis 4 up and 3 to play v. Miss Beatson and Peacock; Miss Sweet andl Cuthbert v. Miss Balfour and Crosse, square ; Mrs Willock and Bull 2 up v. Miss Macfarlane and Beatson, sen. ; Miss Adams and Haora 4up and 3 to play v. Miss Broughton and Tipping; Mrs Morgan and Morgan 6 up and 5 to play v. Mrs Smith and Cato ; Mrs King and Willock 4 up and 3 to play v. Miss Burke and Tod ; Mrs Keiha ', and Darton 3 up audi 1 to play v. Miss Fannin and Warren ; Mrs O'Meara and Grant 4 up and 3 to play v. Mrs Kennedy and Beatson, jun. REPRESENTATIVE MATCH. This was commenced this afternoon, and on the form shown m the opening matches it was anticipated that the Gisborne representatives would be successful. The ladies' games started at 1 p.m. and the gentlemen drove^ off at 2.
