Austro-Russian point of military occupation m Macedonia and Adrianople. {Received Sept. 7, 9.6 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 6. Reuter denies the Turkish official accounts of the losses at Neveska. Two hundred soldiers were surprised and offered no resistance, and the prisoners were released. The bloodle&s conduct of the Turks m reoccupying Nlveska, Klissura, was equally correct. Ismil Pasha, with sir battalions, attacked 1500 insurgents at Eyshison, but the result is unknown. CONSTANTINOPLE, Sept. 5. The forests on the Rhodoce section of the Macedonian frontier have been fired by Turks with the intention of saving bands of revolutionaries crossing the Servian frontier. Insurgents helped the Macedonians m the fight at Colje, m Uskub district. They brought the Macedonian wounded to Vianja Nish, and tendered the use of the Servian hospitals. , '■ In th^ fight at Lake Rapeha, near Kastorea, 400 Macedonians were killed and many captured. Thakaldroff, the Macedonian leader,, escaped,, but 250 troops surround the remnant of his force. Twenty trains are preparing to carry Albanians to Adrianople. Tlie Asiatic troops tliere are useless, being unaccustomed to mountainous countries. Two battalions of Albanians are at Salonika. Eighteen/other battalions are expected. Owing to legation advices, m reference to the landing of Russian and Austrian marines to protect the Embassies, Mr Hay has notified tliat if Americans are endangered, and the Porte is unable adequately to protect their lives, America will seek permission. to. land marines. It is not anticipated that Turkey or the Powers will object ■to this proceeding. The Macedonian Committee is appealing to Christians of all nations for two millions sterling m order to raise an army of 50,000 for. the establishment of order m Macedonia. \ '
