FRISCO MAIL SERVICE.
(From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. It is reported that the representatives of the Oceanic Steamship Company have intimated to the Government that trie. i present subsidy is insufficient, ana that ' if the service is continued it will require to be increased. If this prove to be tlie ! case, it is likely to have the effect of 1 further increasing the opposition to the service. A pricking of the card goes ; to show that the result hangs m the bal- I ance, even should only a ratification of j the existing conditions be asked.
