Agency Company, Limited, have received ' the following cable, dated London, May > 25: — i Wool : Since the close of last sales ? prices have risen as follows — Scoured merino super, and fine scoured crossbreds, 10 per cent ; greasy merino mei diuni, coarse greasy crossbred, and scoured merino medium. 7£ per cent. The i following are 5 to 7£ per cent higher— ! Scoured merino inferior, lambs, greasy merino super., and scoured crossbred, 5 1 to 7^ per cent ; greasy merino inferior i and fine greasy crossbred, 5 per cent • higher. The sales closed firmly. The • average current London value of the , under-noted descriptions of New Zealand i wools is : Good merino Is Id, medium s merino lljd, inferior merino 9Jd, fine ' crossbred ll£d, medium crossbred 9£d, • coarse crossbred (40's) 6|d, coarse oross- [ bred (36's) 6Jd.
