KAITI v. WEST END.
Kaiti and West End played on the asphalt pitch. Kaiti batted first, and put up 63. T. Baker was top ■ .scorer with 18, obtained by vigorous cricket. Porter (14) and J. H. Colebourne (12 lot out) also shaped well. McConnell and Hood bowled well, the former taking seven wickets for 28. West End batted three men short, and only totalled 38. W. Andrews claimed 21 out of the small total, and was the only batsman to punish the bowling of Gibson, Porter-, and Seymour. Scores : — KAITI.
