FINE WEATHER AT ROTORUA TO-DAY.
(From our Special Correspondent.) ROTOEUA, this day. The dismal forebodings of .the visit to Rotorua being spoiled by wet weather vanished this morning, when the son rose bright and strong, casting its golden gleams over the waters of the lake. It is really the first fine day the Royalties have had since landing in the colony, and everybody is delighted at the prospect. The programme for the day is as follows : Their Royal Highnesses and a party of forty-two, including eighteen officers of the warships, leave the Grand Hotel by carriages at 10 o'clock to visit the sanatorium, Ohinemutu, Whakarewarewa, and the Maori encampment at the racecourse, where there will be hakas and poi dances, returning to the hotel for lunch. At 2 o'clock they leave for the wharf, where the party embark for Manuruna for a trip across the- Lake and then te Te Tikitere, returning by road round the lake.
