OUR DUNEDIN SPECIAL.
(Special tor Herald.) . , DUNEDIN, this day. I understand that negotiations are afoot by the Government (for securing Air John Roberta's house at Littlebouine as a residence for the Duke of. York. The probabilities are that; the Royal visitors will occupy the house, and that their suite will have possession of the adjoining cottagers' homes. ; Mr B. Sievwright told the New Zealand Drag Company's shareholders this afternoon that the Ooihpuny's reserve had been increased from £0000 odd to £10,000 odd. The directors considered this a wise course to pursue, so as to be secure m case there should be any further unavoidable loss, such as had been caused by the new tariff arrangements. Referring to this matter, Mr Sievwright added that he did not believe that any other Go-yfenunent m the world would nave acted as{the New Zealand Government had. s If he. were to speak all .that was m his mind regarding this injustice it would be very different to what he had said.
