Grand Crosses of the Bath : Sir Alfred Milner, Mr Justice Romer; Sir Francis Mowatt, Permanent Secretary to the Treasury. SYDNEY, Jan. 1. Lord Hopetoun has received a cable announcing the following Federal honors:—Privy Council: Mr Edmund Barton and Sir Samuel Griffiths (Queensland). G.C.M.G. : Sir John Forrest. K.C.M.G. : Mr Dickson (the Queensland Premier), Wm. McMillan (Sydney), ' Mr J. H. Symon (South Australia). Knight : Dr Quick (Victoria). C.M.G.'s : Mr R. R. Garron, Sydney (who took a prominent part in connection with the Federal Convention); Mr E. G. Blackmore (Clerk of the South' Australian Parliament).
