A POWERFUL LOCOMOTIVE.

" Engineering" has a description of the mo3t powerful locomotive in the world. It has a total weight of 232,0001 b, or about 103 tons. This latter is 132 in long, 42in wide and 90in deep in front and 81 Jin ot the back. The steam is used in two cylinders, each 23in in diameter by 30in Btroke. The tender has a capacity of 7000 gallons of water and 12 tons of coal.
