[Per Press Association.] I Naviee, this day. i Messrs Nelson Bros.' have received the following cable message from the Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company, London :— Frozen meat market quotations, best Canterbury 3_d, Dunedin and South- 1 land 3d, Napier and North Island 2^d ; lamb, first quality 4d, second quality 3gd. Eleotrio Telegraph— Copyright— United Press Association. London, Nov. 29. At the tallow sales 1500 casks were offered and 1100 sold. Mutton fine is at 28s, medium 26s 6d; beef line 26s 9d, medium 255.
Messrs Williams and Kettle report holding their monthly stock sale at Matawhero on Wednesday. There was a small entry_ of sheep, but the yards were well filled with cattle, principally dairy cows and young stock. Sheep : principally fat ewes all sold at from 6s fid to 7s Cd shorn, in the wool »a 1 Id. Cattle : dairy cowa sold well making from 609 to 100s for springers, cows in full profit 60b to 955, empty cows 52s 6d to 755, fat cows 70s to 100s, yearlings 26s to 28s, 15 months heifers 355, three and four years bullocks in forward condition 97e, two year steers 50s, small porkers 7s. We cleared our entry.
