The Union Co.'b b.s. Mararoa (Captain Phillips) arrived from the South early tins morning, and left for Auckland and Sydney shortly before 11 o'clock. lWngersIwmrd: Mesdames Hughes Karailmna and child ; Miss Clements; Messrs .Tudd, Stevenson, Buring, Fdiiball, Smith, Lusk Bennett, Jackson, Colegrove, De ,Vny ■.and Harley. Outward : Mrs Bennett ; Misses Marion, Gould, Churton, and Johnston (2); Messrs Bayly, Hartley Ifwerson, Skipwith, Warren, Dennis, Suff, Noa, Erickson, and Turana. . The Union Co.'s s.s. Omapere is working Tokomaru and Tolago Bay to-day, and ehould arrive here about 5 o'clock this afternoon. She sails for Napier, Wellington; and Westport, the last boat leaving the wharf on arrival. The Union Co.'s s.s. Tarawsra leaves Auckland at 2 p.m. to-day, and arrives here to-morrow afternoon. She sails tor Southern ports at 5 p.m. The Mapourika had a very rough trip of 26 hours from Napier to Wellington this The schooner Awanui left Tairua yesterday for Gisborne via Tolago Bay. The cutter Coralie arrived this morning from Tairua with a cargo of timber for Messrs Colley and Mackrell.
