SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.
The Huddart-Parker Co.'s s.s. Westraha (Captain Hipgrave) arrived from Sydney and Auckland at half-past 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, und pro=eerted to Southern ports at 11.30 p.m. Passengers— Inward : Mesdames Haisman, Adair nnri child ; Messrs Griffiths, Bayly, Newsome, Dunno.Dobbie. Outward: Mesdames Kern, Denise. Lysnar, Harvey, Breffault, and Nolan ; Misses Creswell, Adair, Ruteno and child, Jones, Miller, and Stevenson ; Messrs Lees, Leighton, Uigg, Wakelyn, Walters, Harvey, Hailey, Wi Pere, Muir, Byrne, Bond, Nolan, Macfarlane, Hughes, Harding, McKenzie, Watson, Maynard, Miller, Lysnar, and Alcocks. The Union Co.'s s.s. Mararoa leaves Napier this evening, and arrives here early to-morrow morning. She sails for Auckland and Sydney, the last launch leaving the wharf at 9. 30 a. m. The Union Co.'s s.s. Omapere was working Tuparoa this morning and Waipiro this afternoon. She arrives here to-morrow afternoon, and leaves for the South at 5 o'clock. The Union Co.'s s.s. Tarawera leaves Auckland 10-morrow, and arrives here on Sunday afternoon. She sails for Southern ports at 5 p. m. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co.'s newest steamship Kumara, 6500 tons (Captain Scotland) left Timaru this morning, and will arrive at Gisborne early on Sunday to take the first shipment of meat from the works of the Gisborne Freezing Company this season. Messrs Common, Shelton, and Co. are the local agents for this steamer.
