NOTICE is hereby given that this Council proposes to raise a Loan of £2000, under " The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886." The work to be undertaken is the formation, metalling, and drainage of a cart road from Section 81, Block 111., Patutahi Survey District, to Section 73, Block 1., Turanganui Survey District, about three and aquarter miles. The sum proposed to be borrowed' .8 £201.0. The annual charge for this amount is £110. The security -to be given is the rent receivable from the Quarry Reserve, Section 81, Block 111., Patutahi Survey District, and a royalty of sixpence per yard upon all stone sold from the quarry ; also, a Special Rate of One Halfpenny in the £1 on the ratable value of the lands within a Special District, as defined in the Schedule hereto. It is proposed to refrain from collecting the Special Rato as long as the rent and royalty before named are sufficient to pay the annual charges.
