STRUCK BY LIGHTNING.
(Electric Telegraph -Copyright— United. PreM Aa oclatlnn.) (Received August 7, B^so a.m.) London, August 6. Lightning set fire to the Elanduduos pier, Wales.
A detachment of the Cheshire regiment, marching .from Limerick to Thurles, were also struck by lightning. Nine men were injured. The legs of a sergeant were paralysed. The injured men are recovering.
