SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.

The Union Co.'s s.s. Kia Ora left for Napier at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon, with the following passengers :— Messrs Clarke, Lambert, and Joblin ; Master Walker. The Kia Ora arrives from Napier at daylight to-morrow morning, and sails for Auckland via coastal ports at The Union Co.'s s.s. Omapere left Wellington at 7 o'clock this morning, and arrives nere early on Wednesday morning, sailing for Auckland a few hours later, the last launch being fixed for 7 a.m. The Union Co.'s s.s. Waihora arrived at Auckland from Sydney this morning. She leaves for this port at 2 p.m. to-morrow, and is due here early on Wednesday afternoon, sailing for Southern ports at 5 p.m. The Union Co.'s s.s. Waihi left for Napier in company with the Kia Ora yesterday afternoon, and arrived at .Napier at 3 a.m. to-day. She is expected back in about ten days' time. The s.s. Weka arrived from Napier at 10 o'clock last evening, bringing the stevedores fov the s.s. Hawke's Bay. Owing to a mishap in the channel the Weka did not leave for Napier at noon. She is expected to get away at midnight. The Tyaer steamer Hawke's Bay is due from the Bluff to-morrow night or early on Wednesday morning to load frozen mutton from Messrs Nelson Bros.' works.

The Union Co.'s bi-weekly East Coast service' will commence with the Flora, leaving Dunedin on Friday, October 21st (passing through Gisborne on Wednesday, 26th), and followed by the Te Anau a week later.
