Calcutta, Nov. 3. The tiibesmen are resisting the forward movement of the British troops, and attacked the baggage guard at close quarters and harrassecl a picket. Four men belonging to the Queen's Regiment were killed while defending tho baggage, which was looted. The mosque, where the original attack on the British at the outbreak of the rebellion was placed, proves to be a mud -roofed blockhouse.
