Frozen mutton : New Zealand crossbred wethers and maiden ewes, Canterbury 3Jd per lb, Dnnedin and Southland 2 13- 1 Gd, North Island 2§d ; the above quotations are for average quality and for lines of not less than 100 carcases. Lamb : Prime Canterbury, for 321bs to 421bs, 3gd ; fair average, including Dunedin, Southland, Wellington, and secondary Canterbury, per 321bs to 421bs, 3 5-16 d ; the quotations for lambs do not include sales of small lambs or heavier or inferior quality. . River Plate sheep : Crossbred or merino wethers, heavy 2 9-1 6 d per lb, light 2gd. I Rabbit skin's are keenly competed for at an advance of from Id to 2d, and everything offered wns sold. Opossum skins : First quality showed a slight decline, second <iuality advanced 10 to 15 pev cent., and third quality 30 per cent.
