FIRE ON A STEAMER.
Adelaide, April 10. The steamer Bothwell Castle, which left for West Australia on Tuesday, returned to port late last night. A fire broke out on Thursday afternoon in the after-hold, and burned fiercely, and was not got in hand till Friday morning. It is still smouldering. The damage is unknown. There was a large number of passengers on board, and they behaved splendidly.
