(Per R.M.S. Monowai at Auckland). San Fbancisgo May 29. Information was received from Tunis on May 7th of a triple murder at Sfaks, the Anglican Protestant missionary, Dr Leach, hia wife and his infant son, only 18 months' •M, being the victims. The motive for the horrible crime appears to have been vengeance. Great consternation prevailed.. Three natives of Sfaks were arrested.. Private information reached the British Court on the 2nd that there ifl not the slightest hope of the Czarewitch's recovery. He is said to be in the very last stages of consumption. Arrangements were privately . made in the case of his death to cancel the coronation festivities. A horrible crime or series of crimes came to light in Salt Lake on May 24. On eearchiog the basement of the Scandinavian Church portions of the partly cremated body of Henrietta Clausen, a Swedish girl, said to have been murdered by the pastor, Rev. Mr Hermans, were found. The whole cellar was then dug up and bones by the dozen, some human and some those of quadrupeds, were discovered, some so much burned that their classification could not bo made.
