Adelaide, March 2. Parsons succeeded in putting up another cycling record. Paced by triplet for two laps and by tandem in the third lap, he covered a mile on the Adelaide Oval in lmin 58 3-sth sees. This is 1 l-sth sees faster than any other record. At the N.C.U. championship meeting at Herne Hill, England, on Sept. 7th, 1895, T. Gibbons-Brooks covered the mile in lmin 59 4-sth sees, beating PluXt Bett's previous record of 2min 1 3-sth sees.
