A Fierce Squall.

Melbourne, Jan. 28,

A violent storm was experienced at the Prentice freehold in tho Ruthergleu district. The Prosbytorian Church was demolished. Tho Miners Recreation Hall and a number of dwelling houses wore unroofed, and many others damaged. At the Great Northern Hamilton's stores were wrecked, several bourding-houso establishments wero destroyed, a miner named McKeunn was severly injured by fulling debris, and numerous narrow escapes aro reported. The storm lasted a very short time, and was confined to a narrow track.
