Sydney, Sept. 30. Grenadier and Blue Peter have been Boratcbed for the Caulfield Cup. Oct. 1. — The settling over the late meeting produced some speculation on the Victorian meeting. Solace was installed first favorite for the V.R.C. Derby at 4 to 1 on the strength of his victory in the September Stakes, and for the Caulfield Cup all tbe money in the market has been taken about Hova at 100 to 6. Hopscotch, however, Btill holds pride of position for the chief event at the V.A.T.C. meeting, and the best offer about the winner of the Epsom Handicap is 10 to 1. Most of the horses engaged at the recent meeting of tbe A. J.C. have departed to fulfil their Victorian engagements, HAWKE'S BAY J.C. SPRING MEETING. Napier, to-day.
