» The U.S.S. Co.'s s.s. Tarawera arrived early yesterday morning from southern ports, and steamed for Sydney via Auckland at 11.30. Flora from Auckland - arrived at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, and ■teamed for ' Napier and southern ports at 8 p.m. Passengers.— lnward : Misses Crawford, Fiahendon, Russell, Hamill, Knight, and Chillen ; Mesdames Wiseman, Brown, and Joyce ; Messrs Piggott, Joyce, Wade, Roby, Smith (2), and Gentle. Outward : Rev; Rangi ; Messrs Brown, Watson, Banks, McLeod, Webb, Smitton, Ritchie, Bwarfc, Searie, and one prisoner. Mr Anthony, late chief officer of the s.s. Tarawera, has been promoted to the command of the s.B. Tekapo. now running in the Sydney-Cook Strait trade. The Union Co.'s s.s. Moa was at Waipiro this morning, but owing to bad weather will nob arrive until Wednesday morning, bne is advertised to steam for Napier at 3 p.m. The Union Co.'s s.s. Australia leaves Napier at 8 o'clock this evening, and arrives in the bay early to-morrow moraine. The steamer sails for Coast ports and Anckland shortly after arrival, the last launch leaving the wharf at 8 o clock, instead of 6, as previously advertised. The Union Co.'s s.s. Manapouri leaves Auckland to-morrow afternoon, and reaches here at mid-day on Wednesday. The steamer sails for Southern ports in the evening, the last launch leaving the wharf at 5 o clock. .Telegraphic- Shipping. Lyttelton, Saturday— Sailed : s.s.
