The whole of the employees in -the New Lambiton colliery have been notified that their services will not be required after June 15th. The management is making a rearrangement, involving a further reduction in wages. The Stockton miners have received a fortnight's notice of a reduction of twopence in the hewing rate. ':.-."■" The Seaham colliery has closed down because it is not paying. —

la consequence of the recent strictures during the trial at Georgetown, the Government has withdrawn from the district the Court of Criminal Jurisdiction ior twelve months.
