Tlie Acme Patent Horse Cover. THE ACME is thoroughly well put together, being sewn with waxed threads, which will last as loncj as tiie cover LASTS. The Acme is much moio durable than any other cover because, fitting perfectly, all the uudue straiu and dragging is avoided. The Acme is a perfectly-fitting cover ; ib will not chafe the shoulders and neck, because it is made to fib like a collar and to give plenty of room for the shoulders to work freely, and also to allow the horse to feed comfortably The Acme fits the back and hind quarters, having plenty of room for the hips ; it will not slide to one side like other covers. The Acme thus having plenty of room to fit all the inequalities of the horse, it sits naturally and will not easily fall off. The Acme will not require a surcingle, which binds the cover too closely to the horse and does not allow the cover to dry. The necessity for surcingles being avoided the cover is not cut for same, nor are there any holes in it to admit water. The Acme has an arrangement of girths which will be quite sufficient to hold the cover on, and also to allow ventilation to the cover and horse. These girths will not chafe or irritate as the- old style surcingles and girths are liable to do. The Acme is thoroughly well made; the dock is attached underneath the cover, thus avoiding the old eyelet holes. The dock is also made to buckle so that it can be easily undone, lengthened or shortened. E. WILLIAMS, SADDLER, Gladstone Road, Gisborne, Agent for Patentee. thosTadams.
