SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.
The Union Co.'s s.s. Tarawera arrived from Napier and Southern ports at 7 o'clock yesterday morning. She sailed for Auckland and Sydney at 9 a.m. Passengers — Inward : Meadames Allen, Bridewell, and Sharp; Misses Allen (3), Symeß, Whiuray, Jack, and Taumatu ; Messrs Bridewell, Sealey, Finn, Kings well, Coom, Wayte, Wakelin, Harris, Ros3, Jacob, Leitch, Sharp, Skene, Humphries, Taumatu, Anderson, and Fraser. Outward: Mr, Mrs, and Master Barron ; Miss Dunn ; Messrs Woledge, Humphries, Hoare, Capper, Hackett, Dunshea, Brown, Brightwell, H. Glover, Harper, Hamon, Oman, Hogan, Ewen, Nasmith, Slater, Hill, Foster, Gilmau, Cannon,. D. and P. Barry. The Union Co.'s s.s. Southern Cross, from Auckland and Coast ports, arrived here at 9 o'clock last night, and left again for Napier and Wellington at 11 p.m. PassengersOutward : Messrs Teece, Senior, and Rawle.
The Union Co.'s s.s. Manapouri will be the next large steamer from Sydney and Auckland, arriving here on Wednesday afternoon.
