Melbourne, June 1. The Mile Championship of Australia was won by Keil (Victoria), O'Brien (New South Wales) 2, Walker (Victoria) 3. The two latter, while waiting on each other, allowed KeiLto steal a march and he won easily. Lewis, of New South Wales, who won the first heat, was disqualified for interfering with Keil. Time, 2min 34 l-sth sec.
