! • Sydney, Dec. 24.— The cricket match England v. 18 Juniors was resumed to-day, and ended in a draw. The Juniors, with 9 wickets down for 440 runs, declared their innings closed. Noble wus still not out, having increased his score from 80 to 152. England in the first innings lost (i wickets for 151. Melbournk, Dec. 24. — The wicket was very wet to-day. The first innings of the Victorian eleven closed for 175. New South Wales made a very poor stand, and were only able to put, on 66 in their second innings. The Victorians have one wicket dowu for 54, Worrall J)eing not out with 33. Dec. 26.— Rain fell during the night, consequently the wicket was very dead. Victoria, with one wicket down for 54 runs, resumed the sccoud innings, which closed for 240. Worall scored 96, and H. Trott 38. New South Wales, requiring 356 runs to win, went in shortly before the call of time, and hud lost one wicket for seveu runs when stumps were drawn for the day.
