AUCKLAND CUP. Mr J. Kean's Lottie, 8 0 1 Major George's Pegasus, 7 "7 ... 2 Mr TeKani'a Mahaki, 77 3 — Prime Warden and Royal Rose also started. Prime Warden and Pegasus were in the van to the home turn, where Lottie joined issue on the outside, and cutting down the pair won by three lengths, Pegasus being a head in front of Mahaki. Time, 3min. 36isecs. ; divs., £4 and £3 10s. This is the first occasion that a mare has succeeded in winniDg the Cup. Hurdles Handicap : Ebor 1, Fright 2, Marechal Neil 3.
