Th» s.s. Moa left the wharf at 7 last evening, and anchored in the bay till midnight, when she proceeded on for the purpose of working cargo at Pakarae. The steamer returned to Gisborne this afternoon, the weather outside being evidently too rough for her to work the coast. The Moa leaves Auckland on Wednesday, reaching here about Saturday next. The s.B. Dingadee arrived here from Napier and Wellington at daylight this morning. She sailed for Coast ports and Auckland at 7 »-m. Passengers — luward : Mrs Sidey and 2 children; Messrs Jacobs and Hodge. Outward : Miss Hempton, and Mr Hodge. The s.s. Australia arrived from'Aucklami via Coast ports at S o'clock this morning. Passengers : Miss Hatton ; Mesdames Dodgshun and Wilson : Messrs Blackwood and Hanif. She proceeds on to Napier and Wellington, the last launch leaving the wharf at 7 p.m.

The s.s. Tarawera arrives here from Melbourne via Southern ports on Monday morning. She sails for Auckland and Syduey at 8 a.m. The following were the outward passengers by the s.s. Moa last evening : Mrs Williams ; Messrs Gunthorpe, Fernandez, Beere, Smith, Archer, aud Ferris. The 8.8. Te Anau will be the next steamer from Auckland and Sydney, arriving here on Wednesday afternoon. She proceeds to Southern ports and Melbourne in the evening.
