A Horrible Tragedy.
• Melbourne, August 23. A mysterious tragtidy is reported from Maryborough, 112 mile* north-weat of here. A widow, who kept a. boarding hooae, left her home to pott a letter, and on returning found three of her children, aged aero, five and three yean rmpectiTely, with their heads battered in by a, tomahawk. Two of the children are dead, and the third lie* in a critical condition. There i» no cine to the perpetrators.
