The Selection Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union have chosen the following players to represent the North Island in the football match against New South Wales, to be played at Auckland on the 29th inst. : — Full-back, Masefield (Auckland) ; threequarters, Bayly (Taranaki), Wynyard and Roberts (Wellington) ; five-eights, Caradus (Napier) ; half-back, Gage (Wellington) ; wing forwards, Oliphaut (Auckland), W. Bayly (Taranaki) ; forwards, Murray, and R. McKenzie (Auckland), Poynter (Gisborne), Cockroft (Napier), Lambie, and Hughes (Taranaki), Watson (Wairarapa). Church of England Services.— Sunday next: Gisborne 8 a.m. (Holy Communion), 11 a.m. (HolyCommuniou),3 p.m. (Baptisms), and 7 p.m., Canon Webb. — Countcy Services: Patutahi 11 (Holy Communion), Makaraka 2 30, and Waerenga-a-hika 7, Canon Fox.— Advt. Presbyterian Services. — - Sunday next : Waimata 11 and Ormond 7, Rev. W. R. Malcolm; Gisborne 11 and 7, Matawhero 2.30, Rev. R M. Ryburn.— Advt.
