The Selection Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union have chosen the following players to represent the North Island in the football match against New South Wales, to be played at Auckland on the 29th inst. : — Full-back, Masefield (Auckland) ; threequarters, Bayly (Taranaki), Wynyard and Roberts (Wellington) ; five-eights, Caradus (Napier) ; half-back, Gage (Wellington) ; wing forwards, Oliphaut (Auckland), W. Bayly (Taranaki) ; forwards, Murray, and R. McKenzie (Auckland), Poynter (Gisborne), Cockroft (Napier), Lambie, and Hughes (Taranaki), Watson (Wairarapa).
