SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.

The s.s. Australia was to leave Auckland at 4 this afternoon, and should arrive here ou Thursday afternoon, proceeding on to Napier and Wellington at o p.m. The b.s. Southern Cross leaves Wellington this evening, and reaches here via N*pier on Friday morning. She sails for Coast ports and Auckland at 8 a.m.

The a.s. Moa leaves Auckland at 8 o'clock to-night, calls at Mercury Bay to-morrow, and may be expected here on Friday evening. She will sail next day for Napier. The s.s. Wairarapa will be the next steamer from Sydney and Auckland, arriving here on Saturday afternoon. The s.s. Tarawera arrives here from Southern ports on Sunday morning next.
