REMEDYING DEFECTS IN FITTINGS. It hfls been noted from time to time that oousumen have suffered oonsiderablo inconvenience arising from small defects whioh develop thomselves in their FITTjNGS, and which, while often trifling in themselves, cause much annoyance, aud involve Rome expense in rectification, as well as a waste of gas while existing. The officials of the Oompany will, when desired, visit consumers and examine their Fittings and Burners, and rectify, WITHOUT CHARGE, such small defect* as may be found to exist, and as can then and there be rectified. They will aleo supply, WITHOUT CHARGE, an approximate estimate of ooet of any change in the pipe service or other arrangement* as may be desired by consumers. There are probably fewer disadvantages connected with the nee of GAS than with any other artiticial light, but the Directors trust, by the means new adopted, to remove most of eveu such as do exist.
