EEDTJGTIOE II_PPJCE OE MS. rpHE Directors of the GISBORNE GAS COMPANY, Limited, have JL the pleasure to intimate that the Price of Gas for ILLUMINATING PURPOSES HAS BEEN Reduced by Tenperice per 1000 cubic feet, making the neb price to consumers of 5000 feet and over, per month, lls 8d net, and to consumers of under 5000 feet, monthly, 12s 6d net for 1000 cubic feet. They trust that this Substantial Reduction in Price will render Gas still more acceptable to the public as an Illuminant. HEATING AND COOKING. With regard to the above, the Company's 'officers will always be found most willing to give every information relating to suitable appliances, whether of Cooking Ranges or of Heating Stoves. REMEDYING DEFECTS IN FITTINGS. It has been noted from time to time that consumers have suffered considerable inconvenience arising from small defects which develop themselves in their FITTINGS, and !which, while often trifling in themselves, cause much annoyance, and involve some expense in rectification, as well as a waste of gas while existing. The officials of the Company will, when desired, visit consumers and examine their Fittings and Burners, and rectify, WITHOUT CHARGE, such small defects as may be found to exist, and as can then and there be rectified. They will also supply, WITHOUT CHARGE, an approximate estimate of cost of any change in the pipe service or other arrangements as may be desired by consumers. - ' There are probably fewer disadvantages connected with the nse of GAS than with any other artificial light, but the Directors trust, by the means now adopted, to remove most of even^such as do exist.
