JUNIOR MATCH.
GISBOBNB V. WANDEKEKS. This match eventuated on No. 2 ground. The game was closely contested all through, both sides doing all m their power to win. In the first half of the game the Wanderers had the best of it, but m the second spell Gißborne had them on the defensive the greater part of the time. For off-side play, Wanderers obtained a free kick, and Taylor succeeded m kicking a pretty goal. Towards the finish W. McCredie scored a try for Oisborne, but Pitt failed to convert. The match thus ended m a draw, both sides having scored 3 points each. Mr If werson acted as j and Messrs Hillson and Fox line umpires.
