[ Mr Monk, who was unseated for Waitemata, was presented with an address and a cheque for close on £300 at HelensvilleThe following resolution was unanimously carried :— " That the Waitemata electors assembled at this meeting, are of opinion that the election of Mr Massey to the constituency of Waitemata, is a complete vindication of Mr Monk m tbe eyes of the electors."
