BEDUCTM II PRICE OE GAS. THE Directors of the GISBORNE GAS COMPANY, Limited, have the pleasure to intimate that the Price of Gas for ILLUMINATING PURPOSES has been Reduced hy Tenpence per 1000 cuhic feet, making the net price to consumers of 5000 feet and over, per month, lis 8d net, and to consumers of under 5000 feet, monthly, 12s 6d net for 1000 cubic feet. They trust that this Substantial Reduction m Price will render Gas still more acceptable to the public as an Illuminant. HEATING AND COOKING. * With regard to the above, the Company's 'officers will always be found most willing to give every information relating to suitable appliances, whether of Cooking Ranges 6* of Heating Stoves. REMEDYING DEFECTS IN FITTINGS. It has been noted from time to time that consumers have suffered considerable inconvenience arising from small defects which develop themselves m their FITTINGS, and which, while often trifling m themselves, cause much annoyance, and involve some expense m rectification, as well as a waste of gas while existing. The officials of the Company ' will, when desired, visit consumers and examine their Fittings and Burners, and rectify, WITHOUT CHARGE, such small defects asjnay be found to exist, and as can then and there be rectified. - They wilralgo supply, WITHOUT CHARGE, an approximate estimate of cost of any change m the pipe service or other arrangements as may be desired by consumers. There are probably fewer disadvantages connected with the use of GAS than with any other artificial light, but the Directors trust, by the means now adopted, to remove most of even'such as do exist. JOHN H. ORMOND, Coachhuilder, Blacksmith, Wheelwright, Horseshoer, PEEL STREET, GISBORNE. HAVING REMOVED and ENLARGED the Premises, I am now m a position to turn out work second to none.
