" Early Bird " writes from Tolago :— Since the last meeting of the Tolago Bay Jockey Club wonderful improvements have been done on the coarse. It has been ploughed twice, well harrowed and rolled, and sown with good grass, which is looking wonderfully green at present. The racing committee are very industrious and are arranging everything m first-class order, and I can promise my friends m Gisborne a real good day's racing.
