A plucky rescue took place at Wanganui the other day. A boy named Willie Dunatin, aged 11, fell into a deep hole m the river, where there was a strong current, and was being rapidly carried away. A plucky youngster named Willie Stephenson, aged 8, ran into the river and swam put about 20 yards. He got Dunstin on to his back, and then, swimming with his head under water on account of the weight, brought him to Bhore.
