DUNEDIN RACES. Dunedin, last nighb.— The following are the results of the races :— Selling Race : Derby 1, Lord Aston 2, Stockfish 3. Diva. £2 13s and £3 Is. Publicans' Handicap : Beadonwell 1, Persuasion 2, Au Revoir 3. Time, lmin. 30 sees. Divs. £6 13s and £5 15s. I Lord of Misrule won the Maiden Plate, paying £1 14s and £1 15s. Selling Two-year-old: Searchlight 1, Kingwai 2, Georgie Sharp 3. Divs. £2 11s and £2 19s. Stewards' Porsb : Cactus 1, Persuasion 2, Wolseley 3. Divs. £28 15s and £40a. Cup : Liberator 1, Ich Dien 2, Remembrance 3. All started. Prime Warden, Dilemma, and Tempest led the van. At the five furlongs post, Tempest surrendered the lead to Liberator, Ich Dien also moving up. A quarter of a mile from home he was a length m front of Remembrance, Ich Dien being two lengths away. Ich Dien passed Remembrance, but could not reach Liberator, who came right away, and won m fine style by five lengths. Remembrance was half-a-dozen lengths off the third, Tempest fourth, Dilemma fifth. Prime Warden pulled up at the distance post. Time, 3min 53secs. Divs. £5 9s and £4 18s. To-day. — The weather is again fine with a high wind. The following are the results : — Tally-ho: Justice 1, Empire 2, Smuggler 3. Won by ten lentghs. Time, 4min. 6sec. ; divs., £5 12s and £4 Bs. City Stakes: Ambush 1, Searchlight 2, Georgie Sharp 3. Won easily. Time, lmin. 4|secß. ; div., £3 ss. Jockey Club Handicap : Hippomenes 1, Liberator 2, Melinite 3. Prime Warden also ran.
