Adelaide Unemployed.

Melbourne, Jan. 29. — A meeting of unemployed was held at Adelaide on the 26 th of January. One of the speakers urged that the Premier be consulted with a view to calling a special session of Parliament to deal with the unemployed question. Mr Loddon suggested that they should form themselves into a procession, and, with muffled drums, mnrch through the streets of the city. The Dead March, could be played, and those who wanted food could proceed to the Destitute Asylum and demand it. Mr Haddon suggested that the unemployed should meet at the Market on Saturday morning, and march m procession to interview the Premier. If they were not permitted to see him they should force their way into his office and make their wants known. If something were not done they might see the streets of Adelaide running with blood before the coming winter was over. They could not see their wives and children starving. It was of no use putting people on the land who were not used to work it, and who wanted food at once.
