SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.
♦ Tha 9.8. Southern Cross reached here from Auckland via Coast ports at 2 this afternoon. The steamer reports heavy weather at sea. She landed mails and fruit - at Tolago, but otherwise was unable to connect with the Coast. The Southern 1 Crosa leaves for Napier and Wellington this evening, the launch leaving the wharf at 5 o'clock. The s.s. Australia leaves Napier at 5 fco-morrow evening and arrives here on Saturday morning, proceeding North at a 8 a. m. -I The s.s. Tarawera leaves Auckland at noon to-morrow and reaches here on Saturday afternoon. She sails for Southern ports at 4 p.m. The s.s. Moa is expected to reach here from Auckland via Coast ports to-morrow , night, and goes on to Napier on Saturday k afternoon at 3 o'clock. The s.s. Talune arrives here from Melbourne via Southern ports on Sunday morning, and proceeds on to Auckland at ] 8 a.m. The s.s. Pukaki leaves Lyttelton on Saturday evening, and arrives here on Monday afternoon. > Telegraphic Shipping. Napier, yesterday.— Sailed : Mat&tua at ] 4.10 p.m. for Bluff. Lyttblton, to-day. — Arrived : Talune at -\ 7.30 a.m. from Port Chalmers.
