[Parliamentary Reporter.] Wellington, to-day. A dinner was given to the Speaker of the Council on Saturday night in return for a banquet he gave them at an early stage of the session. The affair was of a jolly description, and the generally grave and rcvorend seigneurs conducted themselves for once like a lot of schoolboys attending a picnic.
