The s.s. Manapouri reached here a. 7 o'clock this morning from Southern ports and Melbourne, and proceeded on to Auckland at 10.45 a.m. Passengers —lnward: Misses Skerretfc and Mors* ; Mesdames Watson and Ca.ro ; Messrs Smith, Somerrille, Klein, Woodhead, Brown, Baker, Kettle, Theak, Dougherty, Barn, Martin, Buscke, and Bruce. Outward : Bishop Luck and Father Kehoe; Messrs Davis, Taylor, Smith, Lanca, Belcham, Sherratt, Coleman, Hepburn, Nusmith, Harper, and Harding. The s.s. Kanieri reaches here from Auckland and Const ports to-morrow night. She leaves again for North the following day. The s.s. Southern Cross, from Wellington and Napier, arrives here on Friday morning. The s.s. Australia arrives here from Auckland via Tauranga and Coast ports oil Friday afternoon.
