SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.
The s.s. Tarawera arrived here from Southern ports and Melbourne at 5.30 this morning, and proceeded on to Auckland and Sydney at H>n,m. Passengers— lnward : Mrs Chinnery-Brown ; Misses dimming and King ; Messrs Browne, Matthews, Abbott, Williams, Ollivier, Murphy, Steelc, C«mll, Bmitton, Townley, Cato, Union Rowing Club oarsmen (9), and six steerage. Outward: Misses Hoache, Reed, Stcele, Ncale, and Jdnes ; Messrs Morgan, Barker (2), Morris, Johnston, and Brocklcby. The 5.3. Waihora (Capt. Anderson) had nob arrived at Auckland up to the time of going to press. Her departure from Auckland has, therefore, been postponed till Saturday afternoon. The steamer reaches here on Sunday afternoon, and is announced to proceed South at 5 p.m. The 8.8. Australia left Auckland at 7 o'clock last evening and reaches here via Coast ports on Satuday afternoon. She proceeds ou to Napier and Wellington at 5 p.m.
