The Auckland-owned St. Hippo and The Dancer should both win their races. Albert, Swivel, and Dreamland will be a thorn in the side of tho latter in the Flying Handicap. Rosefeldt and Pearl Powder will trouble Wright's elect in the Spring Handicap on the second day. In the First Hurdlea Gondolier is recorded to have a moral if he can jump at all. There is scarcely any double event betting so far. On the Flying and Spring the following have been backed at tO to 3 : — The Dancer and The Dancer, The Dancer
