Labor Riots in the West Indies.

News has been received here that serious labor riots have taken place in St. Thomas, one of the Virgin Islands in the West Indies, belonging to Denmark. The mob overpowered the troops, sacked the houses of the leading citizens and maltreated the women. A large number of residents sought refuge on board the ships lying in the harbor. Reinforcments were sent from St. Croix and quelled the disturbance.
