♦ The U.S.S. Co.'s s.s. Australia (Captain Gibbs), from Auckland and Coast ports, loft the former port at 7^ast evening antj arrives here on Fridnsy/c-'afternoon. She proceeds South at 7 p.m. The U.S.S. Co.'s s.s. Southern Cross (Capt. Dawson), from Napier and Wellington, left the latter port at 5 last evening and arrives here on Friday morning, proceeding on to Coast ports and Auckland at 7 a.m. The U.S.S. Co.'s s.s. Waihora, from Sydney and Auckland, arrives here on Friday afternoon , and proceeds on to Southern ports and Melbourne at 5 p.m. The U.S.S. Co.'s s.s. Mararoa, from Southern ports, has been detained at Dunedin till to-morrow, and arrives here on Monday next.
